Indulge Yourself with ‘5-Star Luxury Included®’ offerings!
As a seasoned traveler, I pride myself in trying new styles of travel so I can be an authentic travel advisor. When the opportunity arose for me to explore my very first Sandals resort, I leapt at the opportunity. Back in March, I traveled to the beautiful island of Antigua and stayed at Sandals Grande Antigua.
There are 11 Restaurants to Choose From
From casual to fine dining, there is so much to eat at Sandals Grande Antigua! These offerings include specialty restaurants (such as Italian, Pan-Caribbean, Oriental, Tex-Mex), buffet dining, and more casual options such as pizza and a hot dog cart – yum!
- One of my favorite restaurants was Barefoot by the Sea – can you guess why? Where else can you indulge in tender, juicy steak while sticking your toes in the sand listening to the waves?
- I can never get enough pizza, and Bella Napoli did not disappoint! There were several options to choose from and the pizza is wood-fired while you wait. Grab a cold drink and enjoy your piping hot pizza fresh from the fire.
Visit ‘Paris’ for a little pick-me-up
- Not in the mood for a full meal? Café de Paris is your go-to for pastries, coffees, and ice cream. This was a daily stop while I was in Antigua. Try the coffee milkshakes – they are delicious!
Club-Level and Butler-Level Guests Receive Complimentary Room Service
- I had to force myself to not leave my room one evening to try the amazing room service! So much to offer, and because I was in a club-level room, this was included free of charge!
Breakfast, anyone?
- I spent most mornings at Mario’s for breakfast. I’m a sucker for a good smoked salmon bagel and this one did not disappoint! Along with that, there were delicious fruits and plenty of breakfast meats with pancakes and waffles to go around!
- Another great option for breakfast is the Bayside restaurant. This buffet has everything one could want for breakfast and in these pandemic times, Sandals employees serve the food to ensure proper handling and social distancing.
With 11 restaurants, there are so many options. I wasn’t able to try everything! Guess this means I have to make a trip back in the near future! 😛
