With a few simple steps, you can be eating in Pandora or Tomorrowland before you know it! Follow below to learn how easy it can be.
Have you ever dreamed of walking up to a snack counter and being handed a Dole Whip? Have you ever wished you could order breakfast for the whole family while still in bed? Have you ever thought ‘this food would taste even better if I didn’t have to wait in line’?
Well, dream, wish, and think no more! Disney’s Mobile Dining option is here!
Disney’s Mobile Dining allows you to order food and beverages directly from your phone. You’re then able to pick up your fully prepared food within a window of time of your choosing. This service is available at select snack and counter service locations in all parks and at every resort. Mobile Dining is available via the My Disney Experience app.
Let’s place a mobile dining order in Animal Kingdom!
Using location services within the My Disney Experience app, you are able to see what’s around you that is currently offering mobile ordering. You also can search by name, if you know what you’re craving.
Place your order!
Satu’li Canteen happens to be one of my favorite counter service restaurants AND they have availability now! We’ll choose the earliest window.
Now that we’ve placed our order, we receive a confirmation screen. Once we get to Satu’li Canteen we will let them know we’re here by pressing the “I’m here” button. Now we can find a place to sit while we wait for a text that our food is ready!

Our food is ready for pick up! We received a text and the screen in the app changed to look like this:
Pick up time!
Every location has a specified pickup area for mobile orders, so we are able to skip past the regular lines. In this case, we are looking for pickup #3. Cast members are always standing by to point you in the right direction if the signage doesn’t pop right out.
We’ll now need to provide the cast member with our order number!
Time for lunch!
I find mobile ordering allows for a much more relaxed ordering experience- allowing me to (over)think about my choices, without having to worry about others in line. Mobile dining has also saved my family so much time, alleviating meltdowns and hangry moments for everyone!
